Australian Human Rights Commission guidelines for recruitment of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people

AHRC box Despite efforts to close the gap in Indigenous disadvantage, there is still disparity between employment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and non-Indigenous Australians. 

A new resource has been created by the Australian Human Rights Commission to help business tackle Indigenous disadvantage and assist employers that are seeking to provide opportunities in their workplaces.

Attached is the summary guide developed by the AHRC, which gives an overview for employers:  AHRC Targeted recruitment ATSI people summary 2015
